Anybody growing up in the 1960s will remember the amazing Australian pop scene, with rock and roll shows being the major TV drawcards. The two legendary shows of this era were Johnny O’Keefe’s Six O’Clock Rock and Brian Henderson’s Bandstand.

One of the most outstanding regular performers on both these shows was songstress Judy Stone, who not only became a household name back then, but continued her career to the present day, becoming one of the most sought-after and popular vocalists on the Australian entertainment circuit.

Judy’s remarkable contribution to this nation was recognised when she honoured by being awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for her services to Australian music.
